So I am thinking of selling my 68 XR7 G.  It is an X code car with tilt, ac am/8-track, 3.00 equa-lock axle etc.

The adventure started when I bought the car in 2005 from Cascade classics. It was in a bad accident back in the eighties so it had to have extensive repair work.We started at the frame shop with a new front clip from West Coast Classic cougars. Don helped me find a front clip with similair options.  During this portion of the work we replaced the rear floor pan on the driver side.
The car was then sent for diping to remove the paint and remaining rust. Turns out the driverside quarter was replaced some time in the past .  The passenger quarter had a few small holes as did the wheel house so  bad to Don's I went to picked up two quarter panels and wheel houses. They were both installed right up to the roof line so there is no vissible seam.

I was lucky that I picked up a second basket case in Colorado that had a good front valence and mirror. The car has all the key parts, included are a set of custom center caps reproduction wheel center cap stickers, I also picked up some dash emblems, steering wheel emblem, pillar emblems and headlight emblem.  The parts car also had a good G horn. Jeff Ruhloff made me a set of  hood pins with lanyards and trim plates. The G hood scoop does need a bit of work to be finished.

Now after painting the car in 2008 I had a misshap during transport. The trunk lid came loose and chipped up the trunk opening. I had the trunk lid fixed but the shell still has some paint damage.  The hood also has a chip of paint of the driver's side of the hood.

The car has new front upper and lower control arms and springs.  The console is in good condition. The parts are packaged into bins  so it is difficult to take pictures of all the items that come with the car.The engine Vin matches the car but I have not checked the transmission as I forgot where to look.

As for price I am looking for $22,500 US firm for the car. I have close to 30k into the body and paint alone and while it still needs some paint repair the tough part has been completed.  Please private message me if you are interested. I would also take a 1967/8 xr7GT as trade. I am looking for a nice clean car that I can jump in and drive and enjoy.
